    AMANDA ROSE & GREG KISELYUK

June 30 & July 1, 2018 in Beverly Hills, California

It was Amanda Rose’s grandparents who played matchmaker for her and Greg Kiselyuk. They met Greg at a friend’s house and immediately went into Cupid mode, urging Amanda to meet him. When Amanda didn’t accept his Facebook friend request, she got a call from Grandma yelling at her about why she hadn’t friended him.

“I was laughing because I was more shocked that she knew how Facebook works and what a friend request even is,” Amanda says. “Who knew that with the click of a button, he would become the love of my life and my future husband.” Facebook messaging turned into a five hour-long dinner date.

“ONE THING I KNEW FOR SURE—THE MOMENT I MET HIM, I FELL IN LOVE.”

For the proposal, Greg took Amanda on a helicopter ride that landed in a Beverly Hills vineyard, one of her favorite places. He had set up a giant heart made of red roses and got down on one knee in the middle of it, just before sunset. Afterward, the couple headed to Amanda’s parents’ house for a surprise engagement party with their families, followed by a dinner with their closest friends.

“Many people asked me afterward if I was nervous, and the truth is I was not at all,” Greg says of the proposal. “I am proposing to the girl of my dreams, there is nothing to be nervous about.”

They planned to have the wedding at the Beverly Hilton because they were able to accommodate all of their guests and allowed for radically different venue changes between events. The outdoor ceremony had a luxurious garden party feel, while the indoor reception was all elegant glamour.

Choosing Amanda’s dress, however, wasn’t as easy. She knew she wanted a big, structured couture ballgown with sparkly floral details, but she couldn’t find it anywhere. After trying on countless dresses and meeting with numerous designers, Amanda finally visited the Galia Lahav store in Los Angeles.

There were many highlights for the couple over the two-day event. Greg enjoyed the ceremony and the amazing feeling of watching his soon-to-be wife walk down the aisle toward him. Both of them loved the party on the second day, which started with a gondola ride and flash mob dance.

A gondolier took Amanda and Greg down a lake to their awaiting friends and family, all while being serenaded by operatic performers. As they docked and stepped out onto the dance floor, they surprised their guests with a flash mob dance that they’d rehearsed with 25 family members and friends.

“The dance was choreographed by celebrity dancers, and we indeed nailed it,” Greg says. “Both days were such a blast, and I definitely remember the pain my poor feet felt days after!” Amanda says. “The wedding was a dream. It seems like we had the most creative and artistic experts in Los Angeles working as a team to make our wedding unforgettable.”

For their honeymoon, the couple spent several weeks in Bali, Singapore and Hong Kong. They went all over Bali, hiking to jungle waterfalls in Ubud, hanging out with monkeys, and hitting Seminyak’s lively beach clubs. In Singapore and Hong Kong, they loaded up on tours to learn more about each spot’s history.

“It was very nice to explore different parts of our world and learn the culture and history of each unique place we visited, as well as to spend time with each other, reminiscing about memories from our wedding, which we will cherish forever,” Amanda says.
