GOWS: How far in advance does a couple need to reserve a wedding date?
A: 12 months
GOWS: Are onsite wedding planners available for the wedding process?
A: We work with a preferred wedding planner vendor list that we can recommend based on the needs of the wedding couple's vision. Sanctuary provides an event manager who will be available to accommodate and guide the couple through their food, beverage and event space needs.
GOWS: Are accommodations and buyouts available? What is the capacity limit?
A: At Sanctuary we accommodate only one wedding a day so that all eyes are on the bride and groom. Event space can be blocked entirely for the wedding events – maximum capacity is 165 people. Guest room blocks are also available based on the needs of the wedding party.
GOWS: What spaces are available for ceremonies and receptions?
A: For ceremonies: Paradise Views Patio, Paradise Views Lawn. For Reception: The Views Ballroom and Terrace.
GOWS: What are some of the amenities, incentives and activities that the property offers a couple?
A: All weddings receive valet parking for all guests the day of the wedding, two (2) rooms for getting ready the day of wedding for bride and groom, Spa Suite accommodations the night of the wedding for bride and groom, and bridal couple turndown amenity. In terms of additional amenities, we offer a Bridal Balance package that incorporates a complimentary 2-hour wellness experience in the weeks or months leading up to the big day. The program is tailored to their personal priorities, be it emotional calm or physical wellbeing. The Asian-inspired Sanctuary Spa also offers an extensive menu of services that will allow resort guests a place of rejuvenation. The resort's salon offers services for the bridal party, such as cut, color, styling, blow-outs, eyelash extensions, make-up, pedicures and manicures.
GOWS: Food is such an important element at a wedding; tell us about your menu customization.
A: We offer each of our weddings a customized menu tasting with our chef, event manager and four guests. We will customize any portion of the menu to fit the tastes and desires of the bride and groom.
GOWS: Service is imperative in the wedding industry, what does the property offer couples and their guests that set you apart, for example personal concierge, transportation, etc.
A: Personalized customer service is extended to all of our resort guests. What sets Sanctuary apart from other valley resorts is that we only offer one wedding to take place on property at a time. The bride and groom will have the undivided attention of our staff who will be able to provide unparalleled service to them and their guests. Sanctuary’s concierge will be available during their stay to assist with any additional booking of activities for wedding resort guests. Sanctuary’s dynamic 53-acres of lush desert beauty on the northern slope of Camelback Mountain is the perfect backdrop for wedding day photography.
