A: Mandarin Oriental, Miami is graced with modern architecture featuring floor to glass windows and breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline.
GO: What was the inspiration behind the design of your interiors and guest rooms?
A: Situated on a private island setting and surrounded by picturesque water views, the hotel reflects the city and draws on Miami’s cosmopolitan feel. The rooms have a blend of Art Deco style and Oriental luxury.
GO: When is your busiest time of year, and how far in advance should couples book if they hope to secure a date during those months?
A: Our busiest time of year runs from November through May, and we traditionally see weddings book 8 to 12 months out.
GO: Is there a type of wedding that fits best with your venue? (i.e. Traditional, glamorous, bohemian, rustic, etc.)
A: Our signature wedding experiences are customized to reflect all preferences and styles. From beach weddings to ballroom affairs, our talented team can bring any couple’s dream wedding to life. Our Mandarin Oriental Ballroom is graced with neutral palette tones, high ceilings, and gorgeous chandeliers.

A: Featuring the acclaimed cuisine of chef Gastón Acurio, La Mar by Gastón Acurio offers guests the chance to explore the authentic and diverse flavors of Peruvian gastronomy. The restaurant overlooks Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline, and the restaurant’s contemporary design is the perfect backdrop for La Mar’s signature ceviches, freshly grilled anticuchos, and specialty cocktails. Offering a mix of indoor and outdoor seating with three lively bars providing distinctive culinary experiences, the menu ranges from upscale novo-Andean fare to Asian-Peruvian fusion and traditional seafood ceviche.
