We saw each other from across the room through the was a foggy mist. She turned to face me; I boyishly smiled and said nothing. The awkwardness was growing, and I only added to it when I blurted out a jumble of words that sounded like nothing. She humored me and moved closer.
As most great love stories begin, the moment felt timeless; love was in the air.

Unfortunately, the mist that filled the room was from a smoke machine at a nightclub. We didn’t need a storybook beginning because we both live our lives making storybook moments. Our wedding was planned in hopes of filling our lives with fun and love. We wanted to thank those who impacted our life, and embrace a day hallmarking this new chapter in our life.
Our fairy tale began at that nightclub, but quickly became a nine-year friendship that grew into something we can’t possibly live without.
