Logan Levine and David Tackel’s love story began at the University of Michigan, when David first laid eyes on… Logan’s brother. Brett, Logan’s brother, and David became fast friends. It wasn’t until a weekend in the Hamptons, several years after graduation, that David approached Brett about dating Logan – and the rest is history.
Although David and Logan had already been friends before starting a relationship together, each of them knew there was something special between them. They each also claim the other made the first move.

After dating for nine months, the couple moved into together; and six months after living together, David invited Logan up to the roof of their building, where Logan found lights strung up and their favorite Washington Square Park keyboardist playing Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me.”

David popped the question, and the two celebrated their engagement with custom-made Veuve rose champagne bottles and their favorite sushi place.
During the wedding planning process, Logan worked with Larry Scott to design and plan the wedding of their dreams. Everything went down without a hitch, and the ceremony was held at Sixty-Five, overlooking Manhattan with a crystal-lined reflective chuppah.
