A Whimsical, Watercolor-Inspired Wedding At The Ashford Estate in Allentown, New Jersey

Kelly Skeuse and Ryan Sosebee met their sophomore year at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. Despite the fact that they were both mathematics majors, they did not meet in the classroom. Instead, it was their shared love for hard rock and heavy metal music that brought them together. 

Their paths had crossed a few times prior, but it was on a school trip that they discovered their shared unique taste in music. Kelly, always looking to make a new friend, approached Ryan, quietly listening to music, and asked what he was listening to. From there on, their relationship flourished.

Eight and half years later they married on May 24, 2014. The wedding was extremely personal officiated by Kelly’s Aunt Margaret Binion. They had handwritten vows and hand painted signs, done by Kelly, representing all of the travelers from afar.

The couple appropriately entered their reception to Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” and danced the night away. Kelly and Ryan now live in Brookline, Massachusetts. They enjoy traveling, skiing, scuba diving and, of course, attending concerts.
