A Luxurious, All-White Wedding at The Breakers Palm Beach in Palm Beach, Florida

Jacob Steven Vogel was living in Indiana while Fernanda Oliveira worked at Tom Ford in LA. When Jake’s dad and stepmom went to LA for the Tom Ford fashion show, they met Fernanda and loved her immediately.

After they invited her to dinner, they proceeded to tell her about Jake and Jake’s dad texted him that evening that he met his future wife. After some initial confusion on Jake’s end, he and Fernanda were formally introduced and instantly fell in love.

Two weeks later, Jake visited Fernanda – and then again, a week after that. It was then that they planned for Fernanda and her son to move to Indiana with Jake and his two children. Fernanda quit her job and moved to Indiana a couple weeks later, despite having no idea where Indiana was or what it was like. 

Seven months after moving, Jake proposed at center court of a Chicago Bulls basketball game – with the help of Benny the Bull – in front of their children, and Jake’s father and stepmother.

An eight-month wedding planning process culminated in a beautiful wedding ceremony at The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. Guests were teary-eyed as the bride and groom recited personal vows to each other and each other’s children. 

A blowout reception and party followed, complete with a seven-foot cake, live band and DJ, light show, party favors, Samba dancers, and delicious food.

For the newlyweds and their guests, it was a dream wedding by any measure – one that will never be forgotten by those fortunate enough to join Fernanda and Jake for a celebration of their love and passion for life.
