Celebrity event planner and caterer, Lisa Lafferty of Beverly Hills Premier Catering, and Influential Co-Founder and CCO, Chris Detert, wed in a private ceremony in Capri, Italy, at the five-star Capri Palace Hotel & Spa, followed by a reception and dinner at Michelin-starred restaurant Il Riccio Beach Club.
The 40-person, three-day wedding extravaganza began with a cruise aboard a “pirate ship” around the island of Capri, which featured a stop for lunch and lounging at world-renowned beach club, La Fontelina. There, guests dined on fresh-caught grilled lobster, fried squid, beef carpaccio, and homemade pappardelle pasta with prawns, and drank Imperial-sized (4x Magnum-sized) bottles of rosé, followed by swimming and sunning in front of Capri’s famous Faraglioni Rocks.

The following day, the party continued with a rehearsal dinner at one of Capri’s most celebrated restaurant, Da Paolino – otherwise known as “the Lemon Tree restaurant” for the amazing and ornate lemon trees that surround the entire property, acting as a romantic canopy.
Guests were greeted with a welcome reception that included champagne from Ruinart, local limoncello, and Don Julio 1942 tequila – a favorite of the bride and groom. For dinner, guests enjoyed fresh buffalo mozzarella with large garden-grown tomatoes, ravioli caprese in lemon sauce, and grilled local seabass. Guests dined among beautiful and fragrant tablescapes of fresh herbs, lemons, garden vegetables, and wild florals.
The wedding ceremony, which took place on the rooftop of Capri Palace, featured all-white florals designed by luxury local florist, Capri Flor di Domenico Ruggiero, and featured a violinist who played the bride and groom’s favorite modern love songs. Post-ceremony, the guests were whisked away to the hotel’s private beach club, Il Riccio, for a cocktail and canapé reception, followed by a sunset dinner from Michelin-starred Executive Chef Andrea Migliaccio. Guests dined at an oceanfront king’s table, adorned with local hand painted ceramics, handblown glassware, and bright elegant florals, with towering crystal candelabras.
Guests were treated after dinner to a trip to Il Riccio’s famous Temptation Room, full of decadent handmade pastries. The wedding party then headed to the rooftop of Il Riccio, for a night of dancing and drinks under the stars with DJ Andrea. The wedding cake was a classic Italian mille-feuille four-tier with wild strawberries. To conclude the evening, guests were treated to fresh, woodfired pizza.
