    EMILY KRAMER & JARED SHURE

    December 7, 2019 in Peapack-Gladstone, NJ

A Warm and Inviting Wedding at Natirar Mansion in Peapack-Gladstone, New Jersey

Jared Shure selected Emily Kramer from all the potential bagels on “Coffee Meets Bagel.” The next day at noon, Emily was served up a warm bagel, saw Jared’s sweet smile and kind eyes, and sent along a coffee to complete the match. Not knowing that Emily’s choice carbs are bagels and not pasta, Jared took her to Otto in Greenwich Village for their first date.

After a bottle of red and bonding over credit card rewards programs, it was clear they needed to see each other again. What followed was a “whirlwind romance” that included traveling the world and exploring destinations like Italy, France, and Mexico together.

One day, Emily came home from work to find two dozen long stem roses. She ran over to Jared to thank him, and he pointed out that she ran by the kitchen table covered with rose petals. As Emily went back to the kitchen, she found that the rose petals spelled out, “Will you marry me?” and the dot of the question mark was a Tiffany box with a beautiful white bow. Emily was so overwhelmed with emotions and excitement that, to this day, Jared still isn’t sure if she officially answered the question.

“WE ARE SO CONFIDENT IN OUR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER AND VISION FOR OUR LIFE TOGETHER.”

“We were fortunate to find the Mansion at Natirar in Far Hills, NJ for our venue,” says the couple. “The gorgeous, renovated 1912 mansion sits on top of 500 acres of lush scenery and a farm to support the farm-to-table, tailored culinary experience. Once we saw the modern ballroom with a living wall and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking sunset, we knew we found the place we wanted to exchange vows.”

Marina Luri and her team planned, coordinated, and executed a stunning wedding in less than six months. As a detail-oriented bride with a very specific wish list but the inability to communicate a vision, Emily was thrilled that Marina and her team were able to seamlessly translate a few conversations and photos into a creative brief that was instantly approved. In addition to brainstorming a few unique aspects together, the team presented a number of creative and special elements that would ensure the couple’s wedding would be something to remember.

“Our wedding was the best day of our lives,” they share. “We are so confident in our love for each other and vision for our life together, that it felt like the natural next step to formalize our union. We were calm, excited, and perhaps a little nervous to see if the evening unfolded as we envisioned. We also were committed to being very present. We carefully planned the timing of every element with Marina Luri’s team so we could take in every moment. We removed extraneous time-consuming items like table photos and only allowed the parents to collectively speak for a few minutes. We felt so enveloped by love and assured that Marina’s team and the Natirar would execute a perfect event.”

The wedding was warm, and the love was palpable. The wedding officiant was the Cantor from Emily’s synagogue where her family has been members for six generations. The acrylic chuppah was a special touch, as it was adorned with tallit from both the bride and groom’s grandfathers. Under it, they drank wine from family kiddush cups and Jared broke glass in a pouch that was purchased decades ago by Emily’s grandmother for her wedding day. The personal and amorous ceremony took place with the backdrop of an illuminated five-foot “LOVE” sign.

Guests were surrounded by an ambiance that was warm and inviting. In ivory, blush, and gold tones, the ballroom was appointed with harlow stands, hanging candles, and textured linens. Intimate tables allowed for joyful conversations while delighting in incredible food that could have come from a Michelin-star restaurant. However, everyone was out of their seats dancing for the majority of the night. The band, The New Millenials, worked with the couple to customize a set that ensured every age range would be dancing.

For their honeymoon, Emily and Jared enjoyed an indulgent over-the-water bungalow at the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort, followed by a week in Dubai.
