A Swanky and Modern Wedding at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort in Miami, Florida

Boris Mitchell’s mother was sitting in a Toronto hair salon when the stylist working next to her mentioned a celebrity that had just come into the salon. Everyone was excitedly discussing their special guest’s visit when another stylish suggested she knew someone who looked like that celebrity. She pulled up an Instagram account to show Boris’ mother who she was talking about, and that person was Veronique Kazdan.

“One phone call led to another and the next thing I knew, Boris had flown up to Toronto to meet me,” says Veronique. “With the undeniable chemistry we shared, let’s just say we were inseparable from that day on!” Four months later, while driving over a bridge overlooking the Miami sunset, Boris proposed.

“Though I had already heard about Lina and LV Event Designs, I have to say that I wondered how anyone would be able to capture what I was envisioning for the wedding,” 

Veronique shares. “Well that feeling didn’t last long, because from the moment I met with Lina and her team, it became very evident that we were on the same page; and after reviewing detail after detail, our wedding began to take shape. First came the search for our venue. Lina had some great options for me to see and before long, our location was booked.

Then in no time at all, we were reviewing color palettes, scheduling tastings, and putting hands on samples of just about everything you can imagine. We were on our way! All the while, we had begun the search for my dress. 

Lina took me to the finest boutiques in the Miami area and I tried on some amazing dresses. So many beautiful dresses to choose from, but something told me that I had to keep looking. Our efforts finally paid off and I found myself standing in front of the mirror wearing the dress of my dreams from Galia Lahav.”

After every detail had been planned and every decision made, the wedding day came and went in a flash. In no time, Boris and Veronique were standing in front of their loved ones as husband and wife.

“We are so grateful to have had such a memorable experience both on our big day and in the months leading to it,” says the bride. “From a discussion in a hair salon, to a dream wedding and beyond! Cheers!”
