Daniela Pinero and Rafael Santini were living in different areas of Puerto Rico when Rafael’s cousin introduced the two via social media. After some time, they decided to meet face-to-face at a restaurant in Miramar. “That was all it took,” Daniela recalls. “It was an instant click. It felt like we knew each other for a long time.”
Two years later, Rafael proposed during a surprise family reunion at the Boat House in Orlando, Florida. “What was supposed to be ‘meet the father-in-law’ turned out to be an unexpected, full family reunion followed by a well-coordinated and emotional proposal,” Daniela describes. “We were on one of the restaurant’s convertible car/boat rides; and just when we were about to get off the boat, my family was waiting with the custom banner and Rafael’s proposal arrangement.”

The bride and groom wanted their wedding to be intimate and fun, featuring décor inspired by the sunset, and food representing the fresh and delectable flavors of the Caribbean. “I had a dream wedding,” says the bride. “One of the surprises was having my favorite singer, Pedro Capo, singing our favorite songs during my first dance with Rafael – it was incredible! We also had Tito Auger and Luva, who kept us chilling and dancing the night away.
Wedding planning was coordinated by Deisari Rivera, Glamourama. Our wedding was captured by one of the most sought-after wedding teams in the Caribbean, Alucinarte Films lead by Claudette Montero.”
For their honeymoon, the newlyweds went on a cruise throughout Europe. After visiting iconic cities like Barcelona, Capri, Rome, Florence, and Nice, they spent four wonderful nights in Paris.
“We have always said that no matter where life takes us or how busy we may be, we should always make time to enjoy one of our greatest passions, which is traveling and exploring new places,” Daniela shares. “Naturally, our most memorable moments have been waking up to a beautiful balcony view in a different city.”
