Ashleigh Kluge and Brian White have a typical “boy meets girl” story; but throw in a kilt, a mom, some drums, and Fire Chief Ale, and that story becomes something magical.
As Ashleigh was working at the Rock Bottom Brewery–on her usual Thursday tapping of the Fire Chief Ale–her family came in, and her mother commented on a cute boy who had arrived. Ashleigh, however, only mentioned the kilt he was wearing, along with how tall he was. Of course, fate intervened and she ended up serving Brian’s table. After he finished playing the drums, they started up a casual conversation; and by the end of the night, Brian asked for her phone number, which she couldn’t resist giving to him.
ON A CHILLY VALENTINE’S NIGHT, THE TWO WERE HAVING DINNER, WHERE BRIAN POPPED THE QUESTION.
Over the next few years, Ashleigh and Brian spent time getting to know one another and growing together in their relationship. On a chilly Valentine’s night, the two were having dinner at The Keg Steakhouse, where Brian popped the question. Ashleigh happily accepted, and the night quickly turned into an engagement celebration.
The couple’s wedding planning process started out a bit rocky, with their original venue unexpectedly closing mere months before their wedding. Fortunately, their wedding planner, Isabelle Kline Design was able to change the location to the Highlands Ranch Mansion. A blessing in disguise, the Highlands Ranch Mansion was the perfect backdrop for the wedding–vintage in feel, and large enough to accommodate guests for an outdoor wedding.
On the big day, no moment stood out as much as when Ashleigh walked down the aisle, and the bride and groom saw each other for the first time. For them, that particular point in time could not have been more perfect.
The wedding décor was a beautiful combination of a rustic, outdoor setting and glamorous, vintage details. Originally, the bride and groom had envisioned a wedding that felt like “a fancy family BBQ with great food and a great party,” which is precisely what took place.
After the wedding, the newlyweds jetted off to the Bahamas for their honeymoon, where they stayed at a Sandals Resort and enjoyed fabulous dinners, a butler service, pools, and the beach. As they begin their new life as a married couple, Ashleigh and Brian look forward to starting a family and continuing their journey together.
