    SHOSHANA BIBAS & AARON DANIELS

March 18, 2017. New York, New York

Shoshana Bibas and Aaron Daniels met in the crowded and chaotic metropolis of New York City. Despite the Big Apple’s quintessential noise and energy, however, it’s Shoshana who recalls, “When Aaron and I met each other for the first time, it felt as if no one else was in the room.” Two days later, Aaron took her out to dinner, and it was as if the pair had known each other forever.

During Memorial Day Weekend in 2016, the couple was heading back to Aaron’s home on the water after a romantic afternoon out on his boat. When Shoshana spotted a large banner that read, “Shosh, Marry Me?” she was so surprised and filled with excitement that she almost passed out. Fortunately, before the happiness could get the best of her, Aaron got down on one knee and proposed. As a final surprise for the bride-to-be, both their families ran outside, cheering with balloons.

"THE ENTIRE ROOM RADIATED WITH UPLIFTING ENERGY AND HAPPINESS."

During the wedding planning process, the first decision the couple made was to host their wedding at the iconic Plaza Hotel in New York City. Rather than feeling stressed with all the decision making, Shoshana was fascinated to learn how many intricate details go into creating each component of the wedding day. “I knew exactly what I wanted, and I had the best wedding planner,” she recalls. “She helped make everything I wanted a reality.”

With a clear vision of how they wanted their special day to unfold, both Aaron and Shoshana were involved in each aspect of wedding planning. “We wanted the night to reflect us – from the décor, to music, to food – and be as real as possible,” says Shoshana. With the groom being Persian and the bride being half Israeli and half Syrian, traditions from each culture were incorporated into both the bridal shower and wedding.

When the big day arrived, a combination of white, gold, soft pink, and light green complemented the floral arrangements to create a romantic setting. As the bride describes her experience as being magical, energetic, and love-filled, she says her favorite moment was, “walking down the aisle towards the love of my life, with my parents by my side, surrounded by our closest friends and family. I felt like the luckiest girl in the world.”

“My chuppah was everything I imagined it would be,” she continues. “When I walked into the ceremony room, it felt as if I was walking into my own magical garden. It was so grand and beautiful! The entire room radiated with uplifting energy and happiness.”

As the bride and groom signed the Ketubah, the entire room was glowing with candlelight and dressed in soft florals. Surrounded by 100 of their closest friends and family, it was an unforgettable moment that exceeded all their expectations.
