“We have known each other for 13 years,” Megan shares about her relationship with James. “We have always admired one another as individuals, although we did not become romantically involved until 2015. Our connection was instant and completely undeniable.”
The proposal took place in London over a beautiful dinner James had arranged. Without a doubt in her mind, Megan accepted, and the couple found out a month later that they were expecting a baby boy. As such, the two began planning a destination wedding in Italy that came together in a mere six weeks.

“Things did not play out as we anticipated with the wedding planner we hired, so we decided to go separate ways less than two months before the big day,” Megan describes. “By the grace of God, we got in touch with and convinced Laura Frappa from Exclusive Italy Weddings to take on our weekend wedding, which included four major events. We didn’t even meet her face to face until we arrived in Italy for our wedding! Nevertheless, she ended up being an absolute blessing who planned the most unforgettable weekend of our lives.”
Despite the uncertainty and time constraint surrounding their big day, the bride and groom knew one thing – they would be meeting at the altar to begin a soulful, love-filled journey together than would last for an eternity. That, alone, was enough to empower them through any obstacles they faced. As it turned out, their wedding weekend turned out to be a magical experience, with each moment being more breathtaking than the last.
“People always say they don’t remember their wedding in full detail and that it seemed like a blur,” Megan says. “I beg to differ. We can close our eyes and see, feel, taste, and live in every moment all over again. What we had the honor of witnessing was a fairy tale – something for the ages, something to leave an impact on everyone who was a part of it.”
