Alexandra Lord and Andreas Evgeniou met on March 3, 2015 while working together at the Hard Rock Café in Orlando, Florida. Andreas was Alexandra’s trainer, and loads of on-the-job laughter led to a first date the following evening. “Andy was the most hilarious and kindhearted man I have ever met,” Alexandra recalls. “I think we both knew pretty rapidly that we were meant to be together.”
After moving to South Florida, the couple’s favorite restaurant was a waterfront location in Jupiter called the Dive Bar. After going out to eat on Valentine’s day, they were taking a stroll down the boardwalk and enjoying the sunset. Once they reached the end, Andy got down on one knee and proposed with a beautiful engagement ring that had been modeled after Alexandra’s mother’s ring. Inside the engraved ring box, he also included a Go Pro camera to record their special moment.

“Shortly after becoming engaged, I decided to further my education and return to The University of Central Florida,” Alexandra shares. “Once we were back in Orlando, we began touring venues; and six tours later, we fell in love with the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes. I cannot emphasize enough how fun and incredibly easy our planning process was. Lisa Stoner was amazing and took all of our ideas and opinions and made them into something more magical than either of us could have ever imagined.”
When the big day arrived, the bride and groom got ready in separate suites with their respective bridal parties, sipping champagne and relaxing until it was time for the first look. “My father and I had our first look prior to Andy and I, and that was when it really settled in that Andy and I were getting married in a few hours, and the happy tears started flowing,” says the bride.
“I stood in between a set of beautiful double doors, held open by my maid and matron of honor, and waited for my groom to see me in my dress for the first time. He came up behind me and as soon as we locked eyes, it was magic. I don’t think we have ever smiled that big.”
The ceremony space was decorated with colorful floral arrangements, and a giant circular structure covered in greenery and flowers loomed above the couple during their nuptials. Afterwards, they ventured to the ballroom for their reception reveal and couldn’t believe what they saw.
“It looked like something out of a fairytale, and my guests attested that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended,” Alexandra describes. “With Greek infusions dedicated to my husband’s side of the family, and the colorful, lush, and elegant décor, it was truly everything we could have hoped for.
We ate, drank, and danced the night away with the people we love the most, and we will never forget how perfect and magical our wedding day was. We are so thankful to our team of professionals who made our special day so amazing.”
