A BLACK AND WHITE CITY WEDDING AT HUDSON HOUSE IN JERSEY CITY
Gianna Mannino and Taylor Rounds met through being first responders within their hometown of Marlboro, New Jersey. When Taylor first laid eyes on Gianna, he thought she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, while Gianna fell for Taylor’s charm and handsome looks.
Compassion and Courage
Early on, Gianna felt there was something magnetic about Taylor – something that stirred her soul in ways she couldn't quite comprehend. On the other hand, Taylor saw something different about Gianna; her loyalty and compassion was something that was astounding to him.

Although the couple started as friends, their official relationship sparked during the Covid-19 pandemic and grew into a relationship that was unstoppable despite any challenge thrown their way. The two discovered they had more in common than just their professions; they both valued compassion, courage, and making a difference in the lives of others.
After two and a half years of dating, Taylor knew he’d found “the one,” and decided to surprise Gianna with a proposal at the Renault Winery in South Jersey. Gianna thought she was there for a friend’s birthday party. However, when she walked in, she found Taylor on one knee with both of their families and friends behind them, watching. The rest was history as they set their wedding date for December 1st, 2023.
A Black and White City Wedding
Gianna knew that she wanted a “city look” for the reception and Taylor had dreamed of a black and white formal event. The two picked the beautiful church of Saint Henry’s in Bayonne, NJ for their wedding ceremony, followed by a reception at Hudson House located in Jersey City.
December 1st arrived quickly. It was a rainy day, but the events unfolded perfectly from start to finish. A rush of emotions filled Saint Henry’s church as the bride was escorted down the aisle by her father, Robert. Taylor did his best to hold back his tears as he was overwhelmed with excitement for the couple’s new journey.
As they exchanged vows, promising to stand by each other through thick and thin, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Their love story was a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of love to conquer even the greatest of challenges.
Celebrating Love at Hudson House
The reception at Hudson House was filled with love, heart-filled speeches, dancing, and amazing food. Overall, Gianna and Taylor’s wedding day was a celebration of love, courage, and the unwavering commitment they made – not only to each other, but also to their community. Colleagues, friends, and family gathered to witness their union, knowing that together, they were an unstoppable force for good.
One month later, the newlyweds enjoyed a honeymoon on the beautiful island of Barbados. With a catamaran tour, snorkeling, and enjoying all the fine dining that Sandals Royal Barbados has to offer, Gianna and Taylor spent a week creating memories to last a lifetime.
