The story of how Sarah and Steven met is a well–contested story between family and friends. As they were both doctors the most common version is similar to a scene out of Grey’s Anatomy. They were in the emergency room saving someone's life and while performing the most difficult surgery, their eyes met and they fell in love.
The next four years were filled with quick meetings in the hospital cleaning closet and many ups and downs until again in the middle of a big lifesaving surgery Steven proposed.

However, the real story was actually a little different and they have social media to thank for it. One day while browsing Facebook, Steven saw a profile of a pretty girl he recognized from medical school.
Without thinking more about it, he added her as a friend. Sara, upon receiving a friend request from a “hot” medical student, excitedly wrote him an inbox message. After they exchanged a few messages they set up a coffee date.
Although they were not ones who believed in love at first sight, they could truly say that from the moment they met they were drawn to each other. Four years later, on December 15, 2013, Sara walked down the aisle towards the man of her dreams in Johannesburg, South Africa.
