Sari Schulman & Adam Caslow

July 29, 2018. Saratoga, Wyoming

Adam Caslow first met Sari Schulman in 2011 when he was visiting friends in San Francisco. With Sari living in the city and the two having some mutual friends, they ended up going to a music festival together and hung out the whole weekend.

“I first noticed her energy and spunk – playing with her puppy, now our 8-year-old dog Neff, and just being really easygoing,” Adam recalls. “Though we both attended the concert with our separate groups of friends, we ended up hanging out just the two of us, exploring the festival on our own.”

A few weeks later, Adam returned to San Francisco to see whether his first weekend with Sari was “just a fling” or something more substantial. “The adventure continued when Sari wrote me a treasure hunt, riddles that I had to solve to various points of interest throughout San Francisco, that took us on an exploratory tour of her favorite spots of the city,” he describes. “I knew she was the right adventure buddy for me!”

“Fast forward to 2017 on Sunday morning,” Adam continues. “I got up early to walk the dog and left Sari a riddle in the kitchen. This time, it was a journey to some of our favorite spots in the city that culminated at the Elizabeth Street Gardens in Soho.  Surrounded by the peace of an urban oasis, Sari agreed to become my wife.”

Sari and Adam both love the mountains, so they decided to host a destination wedding in Wyoming. They chose Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, which was the perfect place for their loved ones to play, party, and spend time together surrounded by rustic elegance and natural beauty. The wedding planning process was somewhat tricky, as the couple had to figure out how to bring their vendors to such a remote Wyoming location; but with the help of the team at Jennifer Zabinski Events, everyone arrived at the ranch safely and comfortably.

Adam and Sari’s wedding weekend was filled with classic ranch activities like horseback riding, fly-fishing, hiking, biking, and shooting. Their guests eagerly embraced the “spirit of the West,” and spent their days enjoying local cuisine, creative libations, and getting to know each other.

“When it was finally wedding day, I was surprised by a feeling of calmness,” says the groom. “Surrounded by loved ones in a beautiful environment, I pledged my love to my best friend. It was emotionally exhausting, but a memory I get to relive every day.”
