    LANA & RAV SINGH

    July 2, 2014 in Robquebrune-Cap-Martin, France

Lana and Rav Singh have known each other for 12 years, and their original friendship naturally progressed into a loving relationship.

“Looking back to when we first met, I knew that Rav was someone I wanted to have in my life forever; he has the kindest heart and soul,” says Lana. “From what I now know, I was the one who Rav wanted to marry from the first time he met me.”

“REFLECTING ON THE MEMORIES WE CREATED BRINGS ME SO MUCH HAPPINESS.”

Rav arranged a special proposal when Lana was away for the weekend. When she came home, she found their dining table and living room floor strewn with white rose petals, lit candles, and a backdrop of 25 silver heart-shaped balloons and letters spelling out “LOVE.” Rav then got down on one knee and popped the question.

Being Jewish, the couple had two weddings. The first took place in London, which was an intimate civil ceremony with close friends and family, and the second was held at the home of Lana’s parents in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin.

Being seven months pregnant while planning the second wedding, the wedding planning process was especially hectic for Lana. With the help of a fantastic event company, however, the couple’s wedding vision came to fruition.

The most stunning weather greeted everyone on the big day – the sun was shining without a single cloud in the sky, and photographer John Nassari captured every detail. White was chosen as the primary wedding décor color, accented by candles, trees covered in white flowers and delicate lighting, and touches of silver to create a romantic and ethereal ambiance.

Throughout the evening, the bride and groom ensured their guests were continuously treated to a variety of entertainment and special moments that they would always remember. Some of these memorable events included the release of white doves, a performance by a wonderful children’s choir, and the incredible John Legend singing “All of Me” for the newlyweds’ first dance.

“There was a tremendous amount of love, warmth, and happiness from all of our friends and family on our special day,” says Lana. “Reflecting on the memories we created brings me so much happiness and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with the love of my life.”
