    LINDSAY HURLEY & BRIAN STOCK

November 15, 2014 in Naples, Florida

Five years ago, Lindsay Hurley and Brian Stock met at a restaurant in Naples, Florida. For both of them, it was truly love at first sight.

That night, despite being a 40-year-old bachelor who swore off ever getting married, Brian told his best friend that he was going to marry Lindsay someday. Lindsay says, “I told my mom and dad the next morning that I met their future son-in-law the night before.” The two have been together every day since that first encounter.

The proposal took place while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and staying at the One&Only Resort. “We were eating breakfast on our balcony in our pajamas,” Lindsay describes. “A boat went by and Brian told me to get a picture. When I turned around, he was on one knee.” It was Good Friday, as well as Brian’s father’s birthday; so he chose that date to propose, knowing how happy and honored his dad would be.

After interviewing several wedding planners, the couple met Anna of Anna Lucia Events and instantly knew she was “the one.” Being a developer, Brian appreciated the detailed presentations and CAD drawings for the event setup, and Lindsay discovered that she and Anna shared similar tastes, wedding visions, and had a great deal in common–even being past barrel racers. “We were basically in contact every day for almost a year,” Lindsay says. “I put my full faith and confidence in Anna, and I was not disappointed for a second throughout the wedding planning process.”

Hosted by The Players Club, the big day took place without a single glitch, and a talented group of vendors made it possible for the bride and groom to relax and enjoy the entire experience. A romantic and modern setting was created for them with wedding décor that included stunning floral designs by Fifty50, along with fantastic lighting by Bay Stage Live. Vanderbilt Strings provided live ceremony entertainment, the band Powerhouse kept guests dancing until 3am, surprise dancers added another element of excitement, and a fireworks display kept everyone talking about the festivities for months.

By the end of the night, the newlyweds were ecstatic about how perfect their wedding was, and guests kept commenting on the grandiose beauty of the setting and décor. Not only did the décor look like a real-life fairytale, but the wedding itself was filled with fun. “God was truly looking out for us, and placed all of the right people in our path to create a perfect wedding,” says Lindsay. “Having our friends and family say they truly had the most fun night of their lives was such an honor.”
