    XIAOMING LIU AND MIRCO FIASCHI

May 16, 2015 in Tuscany, Italy

Mirco Fiaschi and Xiaoming Liu were born far away from each other–Mirco in Italy, and Xiaoming in China–but neither distance nor cultural differences were factors when it came to the connection that formed between them.

The two met in the UK eight years ago, when they were attending graduate school. Mirco was immediately captured by Xiaoming’s beauty, generosity, funniness, and unique way about her. Xiaoming says, “I liked his character, his great sense of humor, and his sweet heart. Our passion for life connected us, and we soon became inseparable.”

“OUR PASSION FOR LIFE CONNECTED US, AND WE SOON BECAME INSEPARABLE.” XIAOMING LIU

A few years later, the couple found themselves traveling to China and visiting Xiaoming’s family. One day, they were in the middle of a photo shoot in the old town when Mirco stopped the photographers, took his girlfriend aside, and said “I have something to tell you…” Before Xiaoming could figure out what was happening, he was down on one knee with the ring.

The two of them soon decided to have a destination wedding in Tuscany, Italy, close to Mirco’s hometown and with Tuscany’s rolling hills providing a stunning backdrop. For their venue, they selected a 13th century castle located at the top of a hill overlooking the Tuscan countryside.

The ceremony took place in the garden next to the castle, and the wedding décor included white chairs, pink peonies, and pink rose petals. Dinner was served in the open court of the castle, where beautiful white round tables were arranged with the newlyweds seated in the middle, surrounded by their guests.

With their wedding day being captured and photographed by Alice of MoscaStudio, guests enjoyed exquisite food, fireworks, music, and dancing. “Everyone had a wonderful time, and we received lots of compliments from our friends and family,” says the bride. “Unfortunately, the time goes by very fast–remember to slow down, be in the moment, and enjoy every single second of that beautiful day.”
