    VANI BHATNAGAR AND RAJEEV PRABAKARAN

February 21, 2015 in Bonita Springs, Florida

Vani and Rajeev met on the Silver Line in Boston. They both went to the University of Miami and had mutual friends but had never met each other. Vani recognized Rajeev as a friend of her good friend Dip. She texted Dip telling him his friend was on her bus and then Dip texted Rajeev telling him Vani was sitting behind him. Rajeev got off at the same stop as Vani. She later found out he got off one stop early just to talk to her.

After a period of dating, Rajeev and Vani planned to drive to New York City from Boston to visit Vani’s sister and friends. On their drive to New York, Rajeev took the exit off the highway and headed towards Mohegan Sun casino as a surprise. It was the first place they took a trip together. Shortly after they checked into their room, there was a knock on their door and a bottle of champagne was delivered. Rajeev then proposed in the privacy of their hotel room and then took Vani to a Kings of Leon concert to celebrate.

“IT WAS SUCH A FUN DAY. LOOKING AT THE PICTURES HELPS US RELIVE OUR EXPERIENCE AND MEMORIES.” VANI DHATNAGAR

When it came to the wedding, Vani remarks “It was an interesting experience having to plan for so long for one day! It was fun envisioning the day and stressful during the time that led up to the wedding. Thank goodness Rajeev was very involved in the planning process.”

The wedding day was a blast. Vani describes it as Elegant. “Our vendors did such a fantastic job carrying out our vision for our wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for a better team.” The décor was amazing. The food was absolutely flawless with impeccable presentation and taste.

They received so many positive comments about the food. Rajeev and Vani were so surprised when their bridal party came out with a huge bottle of Veuve Clicquot. “It was probably the most fun moment of the reception” says Vani. “Every minute of that reception was truly special.”

Both Vani and Rajeev were so happy to see all of their friends and family in one place. The couple had a civil ceremony six months prior to their actual wedding, “but the walk down the aisle is what really made our marriage feel real” Says Vani. “It was such a fun day. Looking at the pictures helps us relive our experience and memories.”
