    FARRAH FERENZO & JEFF EDELSTEIN

November 30, 2013 in New York, New York

Farrah and Jeff met through a mutual friend, who happens to also be a matchmaker in New York City. They hit it off right from the start. Their first date lasted 5 hours, and the night ended off with a kiss.

Jeff proposed to Farrah on the scoreboard at a Mets vs. Yankees game on May 29, 2013. Both their families were outside the stadium, waiting to celebrate.

Farrah has been in the event planning and catering business for 16 years. She started working at Capitale in 2010 as an event and sales manager.

THEIR FIRST DATE LASTED 5 HOURS, AND THE NIGHT ENDED OFF WITH A KISS.

After planning and watching so many brides get married, her heart was set on having the wedding at the beautiful Capitale location. Jeff knew everything would be perfect and just wanted Farrah to have the wedding of her dreams. She already knew all of the vendors that she wanted; it made the whole process so easy!

Dress shopping with her mom was a special moment that Farrah will never forget. They laughed, they cried and eventually found the perfect gown. The process was difficult for Farrah at times, as her father had passed away the year before. After many tears, her mother asked, “Why don’t you think about how you can make him feel part of this day?"

Farrah and Jeff decided to dedicate the ceremony to him. Farrah also had the idea to paint her father’s face on her wedding shoe. She found a wonderful artist located in Arkansas. They spent hours getting to know each other and are now friends for life. She sent her a picture of her dad, along with the pair of shoes, and her dreams came true!

The day of Farrah and Jeff’s wedding couldn’t have been more perfect.

“What is there to be nervous about? I am marrying my best friend,” said Jeff.

Before the ceremony, the Rabbi said of Jeff and Farrah’s relationship, “From the beginning their bond started for better and for worse.” No matter what life throws at them, it’s easier because they found each other.
