    ERICA FERRARI & TYLER KURTZ

April 28, 2018. Hoboken, New Jersey

Erica Ferrari and Tyler Kurtz’s wedding was 12 years in the making. The couple met as freshmen in high school and have been together ever since. After high school, they went off to colleges in different states, leading to many changes throughout the years – and still, they managed to grow together.

After college, the couple settled down in Hoboken, New Jersey. When it came time to propose, Tyler wanted the moment to be simple and meaningful, and decided to pop the question at home in their apartment.

"THE COUPLE MET AS FRESHMEN IN HIGH SCHOOL AND HAVE BEEN TOGETHER EVER SINCE."

On a Friday, after a long work week, Erica walked into their apartment to find Tyler down on one knee. Her reaction could be summed up in three words: “It’s about time!” Tyler had also arranged for their closest family and friends to meet them at their favorite local Cuban restaurant to celebrate the engagement.

During the planning process, the couple decided they wanted a wedding that was white, modern, and chic. K. Barner Events stepped in to bring that vision to life, and the preparations culminated in a beautiful April wedding day.

Not only did K. Barner Events design the exact centerpieces, chargers, napkins, and small details Erica and Tyler were looking for, but Kisha herself sketched a completely custom design for the King’s Table.  Guests were blown away when the curtains were opened to reveal the uniquely designed reception, with touches of white and silver enveloping the entire reception.

For their honeymoon, Erica and Tyler traveled to Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji to enjoy the various cities, food, and nature. In Sydney, they occupied their time with local food culture and interesting cafes serving fresh-pressed juices all day. In New Zealand, they loved Wakikie Island, which is full of quaint, serene wineries with rolling green hills as far as the eye can see.

And in Fiji, they stayed at Liku liku Resort, where they enjoyed chef prepared meals every day and resided in a private bungalow on the beach. The newlyweds consider their honeymoon adventure as “a trip to remember and well worth the plane ride!”
