MAKE YOUR DREAM DESTINATION WEDDING HAPPEN IN LAS VEGAS

What happens in Vegas can stay with you forever when you tie the knot at one of this vibrant city’s fabulous resorts. Put aside visions of drive-through wedding chapels and getting hitched by an Elvis impersonator: Las Vegas has not only left its kitschy reputation in the dust, this glittering desert city has become a world-renowned destination for fine dining, attentive and pampering service, sophisticated hotels, entertainment, and nightlife.

When you’re looking for a venue that can handle your destination wedding from welcome reception to the farewell brunch, few resorts can deliver like those in Las Vegas. And when you want to get out on the town with your friends and family before or after your big day, the possibilities for group fun are nearly endless, from gaming action to Broadway-quality shows, desert jeep tours to night helicopter flights over the Strip.

As resorts like the Mandarin Oriental and the Four Seasons prove, you don’t even need to have a casino to have a great Vegas experience on your wedding day. The Four Seasons can accommodate affairs from 9 to 900 guests in five-star style, while signature services at the Mandarin Oriental include an elegant high-tea service for your bridal party and a welcome reception at the 23rd-floor Mandarin Bar. Rehearsal dinners can be discreet affairs at the hotel’s Emperor Suite or a brash poolside bash.

Of course, gaming is a big part of the appeal for many couples considering a Las Vegas destination wedding, and the Wynn Las Vegas has perhaps the loveliest casino on the Strip to go along with a wide variety of reception venues. Start with a ceremony on the Lake of Dreams terrace then transition seamlessly to a reception at the resort’s Lavender Salon, Lilac Salon, or the tree-shaded Primrose Court—the only outdoor space on the Strip designed specifically for weddings.

The Bellagio has a pair of lovely wedding chapels that can accommodate up to 130 guests, and the resort’s famous fountains can play a starring role on your wedding day, too, whether you want an intimate ceremony on the Terrazzo di Sogno or an adults-only party at the Hyde nightclub. A dozen restaurants are on the menu for the ultimate dine-around, including signature tables from chefs Michael Mina, Roy Ellamar, Julian Serrano, and Todd English—not to mention the Vegas incarnation of the legendary Le Cirque.

Aria, Bellagio’s sister resort, has but one wedding chapel, meaning attention will be focused solely on you during your wedding day. The resort also offers the option of poolside and fireside ceremonies, but we think the coolest venue is the resort’s The Gallery, available for wedding ceremonies with up to 70 guests as well as a cocktail reception surrounded by etherial hand-blown and sculpted glassworks by artist Dale Chihuly.
