For the very first time, The Ritz-Carlton will be taking its world-famous service and unparalleled standard of luxury to the sea with a collection of three custom-built yachts. As the cumulative vision of The Ritz-Carlton and maritime expert Douglas Prothero, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection brings an exciting new option to the world of weddings, honeymoons, and luxury travel.
Set to launch in 2020, every Ritz-Carlton yacht will feature 149 suites (each with its own private terrace) and room to accommodate up to 298 guests. With a thoughtfully designed layout and modern interiors, guests will find themselves surrounded by a relaxed, yet impeccably elegant environment. Of course, signature Ritz-Carlton service will also be available while at sea, and luxury amenities include the world-famous Ritz-Carlton Spa and three-Michelin star restaurant, Sven Elverfeld of Aqua.
Itineraries will range from seven to ten days, and guests will find themselves calling on a variety of luxury destinations such as the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, Latin America, and Northern Europe. Because the yachts are more intimate in size, the vessels will have the ability to call at unique locations unavailable to larger cruise ships, like Capri, St. Barths, and the old town of Cartagena.
“The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection will have a distinctive personality, and the vessels are sure to be true standouts in some of the most glamorous ports around the world,” says President and Chief Operating Officer of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Herve Humler. “This unique combination of yachting and cruising will usher in a new way of luxury travel for guests seeking to discover the world in a relaxed, casually elegant and comfortable atmosphere with the highest level of personalized service.”
Just imagine hosting a weeklong destination wedding aboard a Ritz-Carlton yacht with your loved ones, sailing between incredible destinations, indulging in gourmet cuisine, unwinding in the spa, and simply enjoying a maritime celebration in the most luxurious way possible.
Priority access reservations open for Ritz-Carlton rewards members this month and are available to the public in June.
