Some couples crave solitude on their honeymoon, while others are looking for a side of fun and adventure to go along with their romantic getaway. If the latter is more your style, then Aruba is for you and your “dushi” (“sweetheart” in Aruba’s native Papiamento language).

Aruba also has great dining on and off the shore, dance clubs, karaoke and dueling-piano bars, movie theaters, and of course the famous Kukoo Kunuku party bus. Days can be spent lounging on the beach or indulging in endless water-sports activities, from parasailing to windsurfing to jet-skiing.
For a rollicking good time, take a cruise with the Jolly Pirates, a buccaneer ship where you’ll top a day of snorkeling by plunging into the Caribbean from a rope swing. You can explore the island’s wild side with a Jeep or ATV tour, horseback riding, zip lining at the all-inclusive De Palm Island, or hiking through the desert at Arikok National Park—for an active honeymoon, few Caribbean destinations can top fun and friendly Aruba!
