Our creative starting point was the glamour and energy of a musical performance. To draw the guests into the show we staged it ‘in the round,’ with a dais at the centre. The space was defined by ribbed pillars formed from faceted spheres, graduated in size and curving outwards at the top to create a network of links overhead. This magnified the space, yet simultaneously made it more intimate and encouraged guests to mingle freely. The colour palette of peachy pinks, creams, soft greys and semi-matte gold was precisely graduated to create a tone-on-tone effect. This resulted in a richly glamorous yet subtle combination, which was enough to enhance but not overshadow the presence of the bride.
