For four days, April 23rd through April 26th, 2019 during internationally acclaimed Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (VBBFW), the runway at the Montjuïcof venue in the center of Barcelona lit up with the latest collections from bridal fashion designers from around the world. This year’s guests were Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, the designer pair for Marchesa who unveiled their new 2020 collection at an impressive fashion show at The Palau de Pedralbes.
Thirty five designers such as Yolan Cris, Rosa Clara, Pronovias, Marco and Maria, Inmaculada Garcia, Demetrios, Jesus Peiro, The Atelier and Carlo Pignatelli among others, unveiled their 2020 respective bridal, evening wear and menswear collections. During the two-day follow-up trade show, 429 companies presented an impressive 28,000 dresses and accessories to 22,000 visitors from 88 countries.
Estermaria Laruccia, the director of Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, stated: “… we can say that VBBFW is already the leading international bridal and party fashion event, the stage where trends are presented and the place where the industry of the national and global sector meets.”

The inspiration for the 2020 Marchesa collection was the poem Pathways of Rainer Maria Rilke, expressing a synthesis of light and romance.
Voted best fashion show of Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week, Yolan Cris presented their 2020 collection with dynamic visual and audio effects.
In addition to presenting a true to her style collection, Rosa Clara was awarded Best Career Achievement award.
