For Costarellos' Bridal Fall 2024 collection, the designer combines timeless elegance and
neo-romanticism, tastefully incorporating iconic vintage references and the classic beauty of the past with the present. The collection blurs the line between the brand's ready-to-wear
and bridal ranges, embodying the well thought out expansion of the collection to create versatile designs suitable for all brides.
The designer continues to build on his distinctly feminine aesthetic while combining the familiar and the exceptional through opposing materialisations and delicate craftsmanship. Showcasing the intricate lacework and hand-embroidered embellishments that add a touch of opulence and refinement to each gown.
The ethereal designs are informed by Greek traditional elements, such as the elaborate lace patterns found on the Aegean islands, as well as the clean-cut, minimal Ancient Grecian dresses inspired by lonic architectural rhythm and carved embellishments. The collection's coexistence of tradition and modernity is mirrored in the garments' couture techniques and sensual sheerness.
The range is reflective of the brand's signature use of European lace and tulle, masterfully draped and layered in a contemporary way. Regal ball gowns in embossed brocade, French tulle and double satin evoke a sense of conventional romanticism, whilst off shoulder silk crepe gowns and twill crepe and silk-wool jumpsuits make a statement in luxurious minimalism. Delicate shimmering beadwork, fringing and elegant lace overlays celebrate the brand's unapologetic yet sophisticated approach to femininity.
