If you’re not following us on Instagram yet, now is the time to do it. The Grace Ormonde Wedding Style team is in the process of brainstorming new ways to organize all our luxury content for readers to peruse via social media, and we’re starting with everyone’s favorite – tabletops and wedding reception décor! Starting today, we’re dedicating our Thursday Instagram posts exclusively to tabletops with “Tabletop Thursdays,” which you’ll be able to search with the hashtag #GOWStabletops (GraceOrmondeWeddingStyletabletops).

For Tabletop Thursdays, we’ll be posting everything related to table décor, including bonus footage from print editorial, behind-the-scenes videos, styled shoots, and real wedding favorites; and this week, we’re focusing on two gorgeous tabletops designed exclusively for Wedding Style magazine. Photographed by Duke Images and captured on video by ByDesign Films, set on the grounds of Newport Coast’s stunning Resort at Pelican Hill (a Grace Ormonde Top 100 Wedding Destination), both tabletop designs look incredible against one of California’s most luxurious backdrops. They also make for the perfect fall wedding tablescape.

The first tabletop is a chic and romantic combination of crystal candelabras, taupe candles, garden roses, anemones, ranunculus, and pampas grass set in smoked mirrored vases – the perfect complement to pewter linen, rose gold flatware, smoked glassware, and velvet napkins.

The second tabletop, featured in our Fall/Winter 2018 issue, was conceptualized by planner and designer Jenny Chang. Quite fittingly, this tablescape is the perfect reflection of the Jenny Chang brand – sleek and edgy, but with a colorful personality. “The floral details used for this editorial are combinations of roses, orchids, kiwi vines, and other florals,” says the team. A rounded piece was used as a focal point on the reception table, creating a simple foundation for the more ornate floral arrangements. The tabletop is finished with special reflective rentals, and fur seat covers to soften the look while adding an extra touch of glamour.
