After months in lockdown, the luxurious Rosewood Baha Mar has announced that it will be reopening its doors and taking reservations from October 1, 2020. The Bahamian resort posted: “We will be accepting reservations for all accommodation as well as guest services including Malam, Costa, The Library, Manor Bar, Sense Spa, and our private pools and beach. We look forward to welcoming visitors back to Rosewood Baha Mar and thank you loyal guests and community for their patience during this unprecedented time. By prolonging our closing, Rosewood Baha Mar looks to guarantee a safe haven for guests and associates when normal operations resume.”
Not only does a delayed reopening allow the Rosewood team to adequately prepare for a new wave of guests – it also gives luxury travelers and couples time to plan the ultimate girls trip, intimate destination wedding, honeymoon, or romantic weekend escape to the Bahamas.
The Resort: Rosewood Baha Mar

From the warm welcome to the friendly sendoff, this destination truly makes for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Suites are sumptuous and relaxing; peaceful cocktail hours in the garden nook are a blissful retreat; tea in The Library is an elegant and civilized way to pass the afternoon; Costa reigns supreme when it comes to fresh seafood and Mexican-inspired dishes; and Sense, a Rosewood Spa is beyond indulgent.
For those hosting a destination wedding or journeying to Rosewood Baha Mar on their honeymoon, guests will be in for a weekend (or full week) of relaxed luxury and a customized experience, whether they prefer taking to the ocean for water sports or soaking up the sun on a white sand beach.
