When planning a dream wedding in California’s iconic Napa Valley, there’s four elements that help ensure an incredible experience for you and your guests: beautiful views, luxurious lodging, fine dining, and a world-class spa. Alila Napa Valley offers all of these amenities, and we asked Catering Sales Manager and Wedding Specialist, Cassandra Sweet-Garay, to share more about what to expect from this scenic property.

GO: If you had to describe the property in three words, what would they be?
A: Boutique, Vineyard, Intimate

GO: What is the first thing a couple should do if they are interested in having a destination/weekend wedding at the property?
A: The couple should contact the Wedding Specialist at the property to receive more information and schedule a site tour to see the incredible views and experience the vineyard wedding possibilities for themselves.

GO: What are some of the amenities/special activities that the property offers for a couple and their guests?
A: Weddings at Alila Napa Valley are truly a unique experience because of the view amongst the vines. Also, our partnership with Beringer Estate Winery allows our property to host ceremonies at Beringer and makes it an easily accessible and memorable experience by crossing over our newly built walking bridge to the property.

GO: Do you have selected areas where a couple can elect to take images?
A: Yes, there are many wonderful spots on the property where couples can get spectacular images of themselves with iconic views of the vineyards and Spring Mountain. The sun sets directly over Spring Mountain in the summertime, creating an unforgettable backdrop for ceremonies happening at sunset.

GO: Food is such an important element at a wedding. Tell us about your menus and culinary team.
A: Our culinary program is very special because our entire property’s menus, including the banquet menu, is created by our Celebrity Chef, Chris Cosentino. Chef Cosentino has an eclectic style of cooking that preserves all ingredients and focuses on the best elements of the season.

Our banquet facility also includes a demonstration kitchen where Chef Cosentino and his team can put on a "culinary performance" for events and weddings, giving couples a one of a kind experience for their guests.

GO: Service is imperative in the destination wedding industry. What does Alila Napa Valley offer couples and their guests that set you apart from everyone else?
A: The best experience of our property is the close connection from our event venues and rooms to the outdoors, bringing that intimate wine country experience to life. Our event space and Vineyard View Rooms focus on the setting of wine country and allow all of our guests to enjoy breathtaking scenes while receiving luxury brand service.

GO: Is there any other information you would like to share with our readers?
A: Because our property only has 68 guest rooms, it is perfect for groups that may want to buy out the property and host that boutique, intimate, wine country wedding. With access to our Acacia House Restaurant, Spa, all event venues and Pool Deck, hosting a property wedding is more than an ultimate experience for a destination wedding weekend in wine country.
