JEWELRY | STARS DAZZLED IN HARRY WINSTON DIAMONDS AT THE 2020 OSCARS

The 2020 Oscars took place this past Sunday, kicking off with a stellar performance by Janelle Monae. Big winners of the evening included Renée Zellweger winning Best Actress for her role in Judy, Joaquin Phoenix taking home the Oscar for Best Actor in Joker, and the movie Parasite sweeping four categories – Best Original Screenplay, Best Foreign Language Film, Best Director, and the coveted honor of Best Picture. As always, Hollywood’s elite dressed to the nines for their red carpet arrivals, and several stars dazzled in a gorgeous array of Harry Winston diamonds. Here are the pieces selected for the 2020 Oscars:

Regina King’s pink haute couture Versace gown was complemented Harry Winston’s Draperie Diamond Bracelet, Carpet Diamond Ring, Sparkling Cluster Diamond Ring, and the Crossover Diamond Ring. The necklace alone featured 46.93 carats, set in platinum.

Idina Menzel, who performed “Into the Unknown” from Frozen 2, made her grand entrance on the red carpet with a pair of Pirouette Diamond Earrings, the Winston Cluster Diamond Ring, and the 60.30-carat Cascading Diamond Necklace.

Mark Ruffalo showcased the luxe side of men’s accessories with the Harry Winston Midnight Retrograde Second 42mm Automatic Timepiece and finished his black-tie look with a pair of Zalium Cufflinks – two excellent choices for groom’s gifts.

To match her red Oscars gown, Kaitlyn Dever donned Harry Winston’s Secret Cluster Diamond Earrings with Ruby Drops, plus the 26.28-carat Diamond Lariat Necklace.

The muted blue slip dress worn by Julia Louis-Dreyfus allowed her to wear multiple diamond accessories without looking too overdone. Seven pieces were selected for the actress including the Radiant-Cut Diamond Band Ring and Diamond Band Ring, Sunflower Diamond Ring, Diamond Bird Brooch, Crossover Diamond Bangle Bracelet, Round Brilliant Diamond Earstuds, and the stunning Wave Diamond Necklace – in total, more than 92 carats of Harry Winston diamonds.
